Student privacy
A plain-language summary of the information Tayseer-MED uses to provide learning, tutoring, support, and account protection.
This can include your name, email, phone number, current stage, medical school or current institution, course requests, private lesson details, tutor application information, teaching samples, and messages you send to support. Do not include identifiable patient information in lesson notes, messages, or uploaded teaching samples.
If you choose Continue with Google, Google and our authentication provider provide the confirmed email address, name, basic profile information, and Google identity needed to create, link, and authenticate your Tayseer-MED account. We collect your phone number, current stage, and medical school or current institution directly during profile setup. Tayseer-MED does not request access to Google Drive, Calendar, Contacts, Gmail, or email content, does not use Google provider tokens for downstream APIs, and strips any transient provider token from the application session after sign-in.
We save course progress for signed-in students. We also use limited first-party sign-in, browser, and activity information to protect student accounts and course access. We do not use cross-site browser fingerprinting.
If you receive Tutor Trial access, your videos and files are uploaded directly to private media storage for application review. For non-video files, Tayseer-MED verifies the complete file checksum and checks that the file matches an allowlisted, supported structure before making the original available as a forced download. This is not an antivirus or malware scan. Authorized reviewers are warned to scan every download before opening it. We use these materials only to evaluate your tutor application unless you later give separate permission for another use. Abandoned uploads that were never linked to a revision are scheduled for deletion after the upload capability expires and a short cleanup grace period. Linked trial files, including earlier revisions, are normally scheduled for deletion 90 days after the Tutor Trial closes, subject to limited legal, security, and deletion-evidence retention. Do not upload patient identifiers, confidential examination-bank material, or content you do not own or have permission to share.
Information is used to provide courses, review lesson requests, save progress, support students, confirm account access, prevent misuse, and keep the service reliable.
For a manual CliQ purchase, Tayseer-MED receives the payer or SMS sender name you enter, which is used to match the bank notification, and the uploaded payment evidence needed for review. Private lesson records are handled separately. Other providers process the minimum information needed for hosting, authentication, email, analytics, and storage.
You can review recognized browsers and recent sign-ins from your account. Contact us to ask about your information, correct account details, or request account deletion. Some records may need to be kept for security, legal, or transaction purposes.
